[tex-live] Install-TL (Win/32) conceals errors at first sight

I noticed on a careful inspection of Install-TL.log
that there were a number of unseen errors :

 > untarring F:\TeX\Live\2008\temp\dingbat.tar failed, please retry
 > untarring F:\TeX\Live\2008\temp\dvips.tar failed, please retry
 > untarring F:\TeX\Live\2008\temp\logic.doc.tar failed, please retry
 > untarring F:\TeX\Live\2008\temp\mh.source.tar failed, please retry
 > untarring F:\TeX\Live\2008\temp\moreverb.source.tar failed, please retry
 > untarring F:\TeX\Live\2008\temp\vertex.doc.tar failed, please retry

Might it be a good idea to post-process the log before
termination, reporting all lines that match the set of
known error-report patterns ?
