[tex-live] texlivetest2007-inst-20070117.iso no bins installed

Hi,

just tried installation from iso via loop device on my debian sarge
linux. It runs ok, everything is there --- _except_ the complete bin
directory, see:

hahe at hahepc1:/usr/local/texlive/2007$ ls
texmf  texmf-dist  texmf-doc  texmf-var

The installation even tells at the end:

Done unpacking.
Fixing permissions in /usr/local/texlive/2007... done.
Setting up directories for automatic font creation... done.
Testing for /usr/local/texlive/2007/bin/x86_64-linux/texconfig....
System updated successfully.
Since /usr/local/texlive/2007/texmf/web2c/texmf.cnf already existed,
we have not modified anything in that directory.
Please review your setup.

So it even looks into the missing bin directory but doesn't give any
warning. What's going wrong?

Also if i mark <B> in the install-tl.sh menu, the bin directory won't be
installed. BTW, it has just worked ok. in the office on a i686 debian
sarge system
