There is a looong list of files on TeXLive which can't be properly
handled on MS-DOS (just run doschk) -- I don't talk about compressed
docs but TFM files and the like. IIRC, there are similar file name
restrictions on CD-ROMs which don't run extensions like Joliet or Rock
Ridge -- is this a problem?
