Yes, great, but I was talking about what to do about Courier *now* :).
And I think the answer is, use URW Courier until the J's version is
done.  Do you agree?

    Ralf Stubner creates new fonts based on URW Palatino using fontforge.
    I fear that the projects overlap

Yes, and Walter and Ralf are creating a new Palatino, FPL-Neu, as you
probably know.  Surely, one way or another, the projects will not have
to duplicate each others' work ...
