Fully agreed! Of course, experimenting with Cygwin or MingW is still
welcome, but somehow off-topics on that list, as we want to provide
TL for simple Win32 users, not for hackers who love and need to install
all that emulating u*x mess.
I'd prefer to concentrate on what and how can be done for web2c win32
port, and I hate (sorry!) all that discussions about which system is
better, etc. etc. I'm convinced that so many good works in the TeX area
(fonts, macros, beautifull publications) are made using only Windows,
so such discussions are simply unfair and useless. As I recall, such
discussion is somehow hot especially on May and/or June, every year... :-)
