[tex-live] OK to update freetype2 source in TL?

In case you encounter problems please report them to the FreeType list
also.

Ideally, ttf2pk should be updated to FreeType 2.  I've heard rumours
that someone has done this already, but...  Well, as usual, no time
for that.  Basically, ttf2pk is orphaned.  Any volunteers?  I got no
responses some time ago on comp.text.tex.
