[tex-live] A plain TeX version of the LaTeX file testpage.tex?

    I am looking for a plain TeX equivalent of the file testpage.tex. I 

This is not equivalent, but it's a subset in seven lines:

\output={\shipout\box255}
\vsize=9in \advance\vsize by .8pt
\topskip=0pt
\hrule      % should be 1in from top & left/right, 6.5in wide
\vskip9in
\hrule      % should be 1in from bottom & left/right, 6.5in wide
\end

That is, if the system is set up for letter paper by default.

This ignores the .4pt height of the rules itself.
