[tex-k] Fix memory leak in printversion.c

Aside: For the upcoming CWEB, I'll apply another change in
printversion.c: Instead of stripping off the 'This is ' prefix,
translated versions of CWEB will search 'backwards' for the
'prog_name_start', independent of the length of the prefix, in order to
create consistent output for '--version'.
