But the fonts themselves need the vectors.  And for building new Type1
fonts, the vectors are important, for example cmr10+10.pfb for playing
with Han's pdfTeX expansion stuff.  I was playing with pktrace and
needed this (http://www.cs.uu.nl/~hanwen/pktrace/).
