[tex-eplain] non-LaTex .bst files

How should I go about finding a .bst file that does what I want
and does not rely on LaTex? Is this mailing list an appropriate
place to try to get some help on this.

I finally made the plunge and have started using eplain largely
for the BibTex and HyperTex capabilities, but I have been
disappointed to find out that it seems to be non-trivial to find
an appropriate .bst file. The first two promising candidates
wrote LaTex code that Tex choked on.

Thanks,
John Frampton
