[pstricks] elliptical coordinate

Hi all,

I am not too familiar with PSTricks and could not find a way to draw an
elliptical coordinate system.

Is this even possible natively or simply or does this have to be put together
with corresponding function graphs?

The result should look something like this.

Any hints are welcome.
