Hello Jobst,

what do you get with kpsewhich?

bash-3.2$ kpsewhich luapstricks.lua
/usr/local/texlive/2021/texmf-dist/tex/latex/luapstricks/luapstricks.lua

I suppose that the lua file isn't found.
