Hi Adam,

The problem is also coming from the \ifcsname command, which is an etex
primitive. 
You have to launch an etex compilation instead of a tex one, and to
include the \@for code, as Manuel said, before including pst-solides3d.

The \@for code will be soon included in pst-solides3d, so this
workaround will no longer be necessary.

The \ifcsname problem is a philosophical one ;-)
We have to make a decision... soon.
