Wrong:

<URL:http://gmane.org/post.php>

Obviously I'm also subscribed to the list. I also read many Gmane
lists.

Opening this mailing list to Gmane would allow easier access via
gmane (<URL:http://search.gmane.org/>) and/or google interface
without having to search the mailing list archives. One can also
choose if the ML is read-only. An example: The AUCTeX-ML is
frequented mainly with developer-type messages which is way over
my head. But occasionally there is info I can use. I've NEVER
seen Spam on that list.

Worth a try.

On the other hand I don't mind pstricks staying the way it
is. It's low frequent enough and I end up saving most of
Herbert's solutions anyway ;)

I understand Hendrik`s point of view though.

Just my 2 cents,

Patrick, looking for another NNTP-Provider (individual.net will
start charging money soon) next to gnus and gmane...

and listening to repetetive music.
