Hi: I rejoined TUG earlier today and I would like to run LaTeX on my home PC (I run it on a Unix platform by dialup to the campus at present). I started the download of protext twice, but it failed, and if I am interpreting the message correctly, it would take 31 hours! Comments welcome. Michael Barnett
