The current maintainer of booktabs is apparently Danie Els,
dnjels at sun.ac.za.

I recall making horrendous efforts to track down Simon, because booktabs
had no license and hence was nonfree.  Now it's released under the GPL,
but I don't recall when or how that happened.  Hmm.
