[pdftex] popupnote

Many of my colleagues would like to see a `popupnote' which should appear
in the separate window if link to it is clicked. Obviously one can
generate some auxillary
pdf files using separate tex sources and place links to them using
hyperref package.
However it would be much nicer if the master pdf file and auxillary
`popup' pdf files were
generated from the same single tex file (may be with special preamble
for these auxillary
files like:

some text
\popupnote{name}{popuptext may be containing some mathematics, pretty
long but not exceeding one page}
other text

with the popuptext ignored in the main document (like a comment) but appearing
in popup window if clicked on name.

It would be also nice if the height of popup page was selected
according to popup text.

I think it is not very difficult to make such thing using perl scripts
and latex but the question
is to make it purely in frames of latex.

Thank you in advance
                                                              Victor
