[pdftex] using OpenType fonts in LaTeX

I've finally worked out how to install and use OpenType fonts with LaTeX
and I've written a little webpage to help others in the same position:

Of interest is a topic that comes up here once in a while---a package
for a new NFSS to access OpenType features. Basically, I've separated
series into weight and width axes and shape into two independent axes
like this: {Roman, Italic, Slanted, UprightItalic}, {regular, all-caps,
small caps, swashes, inferiors, superiors, numerators, denominators,
proportional oldstyle, proportional lining, tabular oldstyle, tabular
lining}, along with several macros for setting fractions. Comments are
welcome.
