indeed, on windows, dropping a pdf on a browser (internet explorer, or even 
better, firebird) will work (or else "open with ...")

it does,

only macos-x is a problem (it does pdf rendering on the screen, so there a 
pdf doc in the browser is a stupid non interactive bitmap)
