[pdftex] Converting LaTeX commands into PDF commands

Hi!

I want to write a LaTeX package that does the following: if you put e.g.
\mytest in a LaTeX file (.tex), and you convert it to PDF (e.g. with
pdflatex) then in the PDF file should be something like this:

12 0 obj
<< /Type /MyTest
>>
endobj


Is this possible? I know it is 'cause the package hyperref does do it.
Anyone who can help me with this? Would be great!
