[pdftex] extracting figures

Thanks.  That more or less worked.
After selecting a postscript printer (and print to file)
another window pops up that queries for the file name.
On my NT box this window doesn't have any directory selection capability
(though an absolute path might work, I haven't test that).
The file was written to c:/temp/
