The creators fo xpdf have suggested the \pdfdest command. The
writeup of this command is a bit terse in the "Pdftex Manual."
So I will experiment with it for a while.
Has anyone used the \pdfdest command? Does it work by itself or
must one have related commands embedded in the text?
To recap, what I want to have are markers or reference points in
the pdf file so that the xpdf commmand
xpdf foo.tex +xyz
will open at marker xyz. This will be very helpful when authorng
or editing a document and approach a WYSIWYG capability.
