[pdftex] \pdfcompresslevel and \pdfpages

Hi!

With an older version of pdflatex (pdfTeX (Web2C 7.3.1) 3.14159-0.13d),
including a pdf using the pdfpages package considered the \pdfcompresslevel
setting. So, one could effectively decompress a compressed PDF file and view
the file structure. At least with a newer version (pdfTeX (Web2C 7.3.7)
3.14159-1.00a-pretest-20011114-ojmw), the included PDFs are always compressed,
regardless of the setting of \pdfcompresslevel.

Is there a way to get the old behaviour back?

Ciao,
