[pdftex] Why are pages smaller with pdflatex?

May be you are using the option

    "scale large pages to pagesize"

when printer options mask appears ???

If you UNclick it, it should be same size as with dvips...

I for my part have no problem with a different scaling of pages
with pdflatex/pdf vs. latex/dvips.
