actually, you don't get black with 1 1 1 0 but some kind of brown, which is 
why the black component is there, this is due to the fact that we're 
talking about mixing ink; also, many apps when producing cmyk assume some 
kind of paper being used and compensate for that (watch the default 
settings of such apps).
