Then I wonder why it's design reflects a service. Don't they have a network
version (say with a limited number of connected users)? May I mail someone
a distilled file? If users can use gs or niknak (or whatever this
alternative is called) only the complicated files
need to be distilled, and then one can walk over to the machine that has it
installed (which is what we do here).

PS. I must check it, but don't they offer some service on their web site?
PS. I must also admit that i would not even know how to install such a
thing on a network -)
