that's a standard result of using the color package and then misusing
primitive box commands rather than latex box commands.
See the documentation on "colour safe" box commands in grfguide.tex and
color.dtx.

It may be something you've done or in one of the packages you have
loaded, in which case send a bug report to the package author.
