[pdftex] Re: hyperref and hyphenation problems

Well, I noticed that if I comment out \usepackage{babel} from my latex file 
the problem below goes away (i.e. my bibtex (natbib) references get 
hyphenated correctly). My question is What do I loose by not using the babel 
package? and Is this a bug somewhere?
