[pdftex] bad raster images

Dear pdflatex users,

I'm having a problem including raster images (photos) in PDF
documents.
The converted images (epstopdf) look fine, but after including it
in the document, it's completely scrambled (looks like ramdom bytes).

(I'm using LyX in the first place, with ps2pdf everything works fine).
