[pdftex] psfrag like functionality in pdflatex?

I don't think that it's possible to get a functionality similar to
psfrag for included pdf's in pdftex as of today. Only thing is
using pdftex to create dvi's, so you have to include eps's and
you're able to use psfrag. Well then you must do dvips and ps2pdf
;-).
