[pdftex] pdftex update

I have a font problem with this version (pdf figures fonts).

Here is the main test file :

   \documentclass{article}
   \usepackage[pdftex]{graphicx}
   \begin{document}
       \includegraphics{fig0}
   \end{document}

I obtain fig0.pdf by
1 - latexing fig0.tex
   \documentclass{article}
   \pagestyle{empty}
    \begin{document}
    A
    \end{document}

2- dvips -E -o fig0.eps fig0.dvi

3- running epstopdf or distiller (same result) on fig0.eps

The main file then works perfectly with 14g pretest but *not* with 
14h (pdftex quits, log file is empty...).

BTW if I replace "A" in fig0.tex by "\rule{5mm}{5mm}" 014h works 
perfectly, reason why I thing to a font inclusion problem...

It's the CMacTeX version of 014h.
