[pdftex] install pdftex 0.14h binary failed, please help.

It's better to change it to

TEXINPUTS=.:$HOME/MyInstalls/tex//:

The trailing colon is a must, then.  The path(s) defined in texmf.cnf
is then appended to your variable automatically.
