[pdftex] install pdftex 0.14h binary failed, please help.

You are right, I made a mistake when setting it as
export TEXINPUTS=.:$HOME/MyInstalls/tex//:/usr/share/texmf/tex//

I changed it to
export TEXINPUTS=.:$HOME/MyInstalls/tex//:/usr/share/texmf//

now everything works.
