Yes, install teTeX and you can run makeindex, bibtex and other
useful commands from OzTeX's Tools menu.

You can install teTeX by downloading TeX-fat.dmg from
http://www.rna.nl/tex.html.  It's a large download (over 60MB) so
you might prefer to order the OzTeX CD which includes the teTeX
installer and lots of other useful stuff:
