Well, I think that when you write some text, you translate the words in your head to strings of
textemes, using Omega. Then, Omega stores it in memory and can do searches, etc. in the string of
textemes. The word "backen" is translated to the list of textemes "b,a,c,k,e,n". When it sends the
string to the screen or the printer, it translates it to other string of textemes, and the word
becomes "b,a,k,\n,k,e,n" (or wathever). The lexemes of the first string, representing "almost
non-graphical" text (for searches, speech synthesis, etc.) can have less properties than the
"graphical" translation, but anyway they are textemes. Of course, there is not only 2 kinds of
text, you can do multiple translations and eliminate or add the properties you need (for example,
removing case and face information for searching), but allways you can represent it as a string of
textemes.
