[OS X TeX] TeXShop 5.12

Murray,

I'm very impressed with your work converting the Manual to html. Thanks so much.

Apologies for the delay responding. We were in the midst of notarizing MacTeX-2023. (That work
ultimately panned out, and there is a new MacTeX-2023 in the TeX Live Pretest Area containing
all of TeX Live 2023, at least as it currently exists.)

Putting the html directly in TeXShop is a nice idea, but it is complicated because at least one person
has offered to translate the manual into another language. If TeXShop contained all localized
translations and their html variants, it would be cumbersome to download
during upgrades. Another possibility is to make these translations and html versions available
via my web site. The right way to do all this is unclear to me. Let's wait a little and see if other
translations occur.

Dick
