[OS X TeX] TeX Live Utility will need to be updated

This is off-topic, but your “steamroller” comment inspires me to vent. I have a relatively new (albeit Intel) MacBook Pro running Big Sur, with the latest updates. Yesterday a Safari update was available, so I installed it, whereupon Safari crashes upon opening. (In safe mode, too.)

I have been reluctant to move to Monterey since each OS update on this computer has been a nightmare. For example, the last Big Sur update took six tries before it finally worked. My internet is not super-fast, so each attempt takes hours.

Rather than trying to help troubleshoot, all the chat folks at Apple can suggest is to upgrade to Monterey. So, here I go on another tortuous upgrade.

Arghh…

Bill
