[OS X TeX] Preview setting

Sounds like I should switch to TeXShop as my default pdf viewer.
I have grown accustomed to using the (very crude) annotation tools
in Preview, but this xattr behavior is a deal breaker.

Thanks,
Robert

Robert,

Is it essential that you use Preview to view that pdf? Pdf files can also be opened in Skim, or even TeXShop.
My tests show that neither of these programs adds a quarantine xattr,

Richard
