[OS X TeX] TexShop: Command + T does not work

Starting from a couple of days ago, "Command + T" does not typeset the
documents for me in TeXShop. Instead, when the key combination is issued, I
am prompted to select an application window to capture the image. :-( I
have to use the mouse to hover the menu and select the option "typeset" to
compile.
I do not know if it is related, but I also installed OBS and TouchPortal at
around the same time when "Command + T" started failing. I have uninstalled
both programs and looked everywhere in the TeXShop Preferences panel but
still could not get it to work.
I know it's very likely not a TeX issue but instead some conflicts on my
side. Nonetheless, I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me
out. It has become a pain to typeset a 30-page document that is under
constant revision.
Best,
JT
