is this to mean that uBlock generally considers sourceforge as bad,
or only http://skim-app.sourceforge.net/ ?

AdBlock on this page signals as filter-able elements only these elements:

http://sflogo.sourceforge.net/sflogo.php?group_id=192583&type=12
http://skim-app.sourceforge.net/images/UpdatesBySparkle.png
http://skim-app.sourceforge.net/images/skim.ico
http://skim-app.sourceforge.net/images/skimIcon.png
http://skim-app.sourceforge.net/styles.css
http://sourceforge.net/sflogo.php?group_id=192583&type=12

all of whom being images apart from the css stylesheet.

I am using Skim on a daily basis and have no reason to suspect malware, I mean no reason to suspect it anymore than anything else.
