Howdy,
As Dick said, Cmd-F selects the toolbar search field in experimental 3.67.

If you search for `giggle' in the toolbar search and press Return the first copy of `giggle' in the Preview pane is selected. But the selection is gray rather than the usual selection color because the Preview pane is not active; if you click on the Preview pane the highlight will be the usual selection color. To find the next copy of `giggle' you must have the Find active and press Return again, etc.
