[OS X TeX] Odd artefacts in TeXShop Preview after compiling

Possible.

I have not seen this before (been using TeXShop from the start).

This is a new MBP Retina. My previous was a MBP non-retina.

I won't be upgrading to 10.10 any time soon. This is a managed image.
