[OS X TeX] Odd artefacts in TeXShop Preview after compiling

When I was using Mavericks, I occasionally saw little artifacts like that in Mail windows in which I was writing a message. I haven’t noticed it at all since upgrading to Yosemite. I wonder if could be a graphics driver problem.
