[OS X TeX] preview on TS (correction to my previous response)

Yes, I did mean TEX root.

I have avoided upgrading to Yosemite for two reasons: first, the extensive discussion before about all the difficulties using TS with the new system made me hesitate, and second, where I am (in Boston's North End) the available bandwidth is insufficient for the demand, with the result that trying to download the new system always ends up being timed out. I wish it were still possible to upgrade using a disc!

Correction to what is below: the green button did not put it in full screen; it merely made the window broader. To get full screen, I needed to use the two-arrow icon on the right side of the tool bar. And then I was able to access the icon returning me to regular view.

I will have to go back at some point and experiment some more; perhaps the behavior I described initially was not a full screen view, just a window that was sized to fill my whole screen. At the time I wasn't able to access a tool bar above that using my mouse, but perhaps I would have been able to resize the window by moving the mouse to the corner, etc. Am too busy now to play with this, but thanks for the help.

Howdy,

The operation of the ``green button'' changed in Yosemite and the ``arrows'' are gone.

By the way when you say TEXROOT I assume you mean the line

% !TEX root = path/to/root.tex

where path/to/root.tex is the relative or absolute path to the root.tex file.

Good Luck,
