[OS X TeX] iBooks Author 2.0 supports LaTeX

Very strange process. Because it is in Math mode by default, if you want to write a paragraph of text with some extra characters in, such as \AA or \pm, you have to drop out of \text{} mode, delete the $ signs, and then it will work.

Secondly, it puts it all on one line, ignoring any line spaces, carriage returns in the LaTeX.  

But, if they want to address the academic market, a sizable chunk of which uses LaTeX, they hopefully will expand their TeX support, to something other than equations, at least for import of existing documents.
