[OS X TeX] les bins MacteX ne sont pas dans le PATH ?

In fact, it seems my /etc/zshenv was incomplete because it is this file
setting ZDOT.
Then I've updated it.
Nothing new, it seems (?) it isn't read ...
Copying it to ~/.zshenv makes eveything works.
Right now i do have /usr/texbin in the PATH right at the begining of my
/.zshrc.
I've added the export too.
What does this "export" do exactly ?
At the teminal i don't see any difference with or without it ?
