[OS X TeX] [OT] How to compile application with inclusion of external libraries?

Some programs invoking qmake (like TeXworks) generate at ./configure
Xcode project which one can compile then with Xcode. It results in Mac
application but it is not portable and cannot run on other computer
with the same architecture and OSX which lacks libraries (most notably
the same version of Qt libraries).

There is a way to compile it properly but I am not familiar with it.
Does anyone know how to compile with Xcode portable application?
