[OS X TeX] problem with \caption in Mactex 2009

The {thesis} document class was given in a separate file as a standard
for thesis of two universities (Braunschweig and Göttingen). No one
had a problem so far, but we started experiencing problem today with
this caption package after updating with MacTex 2009.
I'll do the tests you suggested to see if the documentclass is causing
this. So far, i only tried with a few documentclass : The Astronomy &
Astrophysics journal and the one cited above, but nothing very
"standard". Both were working fine with the 2007 version, both crash
in typesetting with Mactex 2009 and the commend \caption.

I'll get back to you with the new tests.

Thanks

Raphael
