My son, Thane, who works for Apple, has submitted a bug report (7380987) on the Snow Leopard/Preview problem. I believe he attached this PDF to the report.

The PDF works fine in Adobe Reader, and, supposedly, it works fine in Preview---in systems earlier than Snow Leopard. It does not work in Snow Leopard/Preview for Mac OSX 10.6.0-10.6.2. There the first part of the URL sends you to an inaccessible directory. Only the second line (or a bit past the last slash of the first line) takes you where you are supposed to go.
So maybe Apple will fix the problem. Maybe in Mac OSX 10.6.3 ...

Vic

But in Snow Leopard using Preview or other similar programs, you must click on the last line of a multiline url to get the correct result.
