[OS X TeX] Wrong latex getting used.

Thanks for your message.  I hesitate to uninstall; not sure what  
disasters might
ensue.

Anyhow, I got the path problem solved, thanks to some avuncular  
advice, and
with /usr/texbin ahead of /sw/... in my path, everything appears to  
work.
So far.  Said he with his fingers crossed.
